Meet Mr & Mrs Bieler :: July 1, 2006
Try organizing a wedding in a far-away tropical place via email and you'll soon realize that finding the right man is the easy part! 160 friends and families flew in from all over the planet to Bali and we had such a great time.

Honeymoon was two weeks in Bangkok and Vietnam doing things that normal honeymooners wouldn't do - walking up and down the hills covered in mud in Sapa that is! We will settle in Sydney (for now at least) until further notice (I'm still working in Optus by the way).

Arrive AUSTRALIA :: October 13, 2004
First stop was Adelaide, then Sharon's place in Melbourne then Sydney. Have started working in Optus and will continue to do so until my contract expires. From then on it's still a blurry twilight zone.

Between Paru and Australia :: July-October 2004
Dropped by Amsterdam and stayed at Mimi's place for 2 weeks on the way to Jakarta. Fattened myself with mom's food for 2 months there before flying to Beijing to visit my dear fiance (he's now back in Singapore, still doesn't speak any Chinese). Flew directly to Australia from the mainland.

PERU & BOLIVIA TRIP :: Feb-Jul 2004
Trip summary

¤ In and out of the Amazon, met the shrunken-head tribe Jivaros, went fishing for some piranhas (grilled them afterwards - see pic 1) and all that jazz.
¤ Flew over the mysterious Nazca lines, said to be made by aliens.
¤ Did the Colca Canyon (world's second deepest canyon) and saw some condors.
¤ Checked out the floating island in Puno.
¤ Crossed the border to Bolivia, bumped into a roadblock on the way, nearly got robbed by fake police and taxi driver, got caught in a tear gas commotion in La Paz and went down the World's Most Dangerous Road on a mountain bike (pic 2)
¤ Did the Inca Trail, finally saw Machu Picchu (pic 3)
¤ Attended the Q'oyllorritty sun festival near the glacier of Ausangate peak (pic 4)
